Throughout the last few years, tommy's profile has gone from bedroom dj, to a well known name in the northern irish hardcore scene, and has been also tipped as northern irelands most promising hardcore dj's by dj technotrance (ex-fubar resident)

Tommy brings to the decks what no other hardcore dj in the country can at the moment, fresh unheard promos combined with tricks, scratching and full on energy.

Having warmed up for almost every local legend from Xray to Binman to Tizer, and also been booked to play the biggest events in N.I. Hardcore at the moment, tommy just keeps on going.

As well as playing freeform, tommy has embarked on a new project with petethesystem, producing electro influenced tech trance under the guise Renegade System, and we are available for booking be it dj set or live!

NIOLDSKOOL is proud to present our NIOS DJ OF THE MONTH competition, designed to recognise and reward the undoubted turntable talents that exist amongst you, our loyal members....

The format is simple - Each month the admin will choose a winning DJ based on entries posted within the Members Mixes section. All styles of music will be considered, old and new, and the winners bio will feature in our new section for the month after his/her win. The winning mix will also be hosted for permanent download on our server, allowing the DJ to use this area as an advertising point to increase their profile.

At the end of the year, all twelve DJs will face off in a competition to establish the NIOS DJ OF THE YEAR. Winning monthly entries will also feature in an end of year NIOS SHOWCASE live event. The overall winner of the year will be awarded a major prize, along with bookings at several NIOS affiliated nights. There are only a few rules, the rest is down to you!

RULES

1. Mixes can be of any musical genre, and can be old skool or nu skool... all will be judged on their own musical and technical merit.

2. Entries must be no shorter than 30 minutes and no longer than 60 minutes.

3. If you wish your entry to be considered, you MUST highlight this in the thread subtitle by putting in 'DJ OF THE MONTH ENTRY xxxx (month) 2007' . Mixes without the subtitle entry will NOT be considered

4. Mixes must be in MP3 format, not WMA or any other compressed format

5. You can only enter your mix for consideration for one month ie if you wish to enter yourself in another month it must be a different mix

2007 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the site with more opportunities for it's dedicated users than ever before. To ensure everyone is given a fair chance to take part, we've decided to create a database of Ni Old Skool Djs that would be interested in representing the site and playing at any Ni Old Skool associated events. Please note this is not only for Old Skool Djs any style and genre will be considered and we're looking into ways of making more opportunities available to the 'Nu-Skool' Djs on the site in the future.

Obviously we won't be able to include everyone but we'll do our best to ensure as many talented and deserving Djs as possible are given a chance... the database will also be available to other promoters on request.
